The deadline for applications for the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year has been extended to November 3, 2017. Eligible candidates are currently enrolled at a collegiate institution and playing Division 2 or 3 sports in the 2017-2018 academic year. Ideal candidates are of Polynesian ancestry, played varsity sports at a Hawaii High School, and had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better when they graduated from high school. Candidates can be male or female and from any sport but preference for this special extension will be given to female candidates.
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that serves to preserve and promote the Polynesian culture and heritage. To this end, we are pleased to provide scholarships in amounts of $2500 - $5000 each to college student athletes for the current 2017-2018 academic year.
Complete applications require the following documents and must be postmarked by November 3, 2017, to be eligible.

- Completed and signed PFHF – 2017 College Enrollment Confirmation Form
- Copy of 2017 College/University Acceptance Letter
- An original essay no more than 1000 characters
